Mint Repel is an Oak Ridge Foam & Coating Systems product. Oak Ridge builds industrial coatings — polyurea membranes, spray foam, roof and floor systems — for people who spray material for a living. Repel Gel came out of that side of the business rather than out of pest control, and it shows in how the product behaves.
Most rodent deterrents are formulated by people thinking about scent. This one was formulated by people thinking about adhesion and service life, who then had to solve the scent part. That is why the peppermint-oil carrier gets as much attention as the mentha arvensis active: a repellent that will not stay on the substrate is not a product, it is a chore.
We sell it to RV owners one unit at a time, and we sell it by the pallet to dealers, storage operators, fleets, and trailer manufacturers. Both are real business here.
